Nasal Spray Pump Filters and Vents

Ensuring your nasal spray or pump style drug delivery device can breathe is an essential functional requirement, however, it is just as important to prevent any microbial ingress into the device and protect the formulation. Vyon® porous materials are designed specifically to act as both a vent for the device and as a filter reducing the requirement for preservatives within the formulation.

Inhalation and Nebulizer Diffusers

Nebulizers are devices used to convert liquid medical formulations into aerosols for effective drug transfer to the patient. Due to their excellent technical attributes, Vyon® advanced porous plastics can have multiple functions within these and inhalation devices.  Not only does Vyon® act as a filter keeping out any unwanted contaminants, but it is used to help diffuse the formulations creating a fine mist for effective formulation dispersal.

Topical Applicator Nibs

Delivering precise liquid transfer using capillary action, Vyon® advanced porous plastic work well within applicator devices.
