Porvair Sciences showcases advanced porous plastics at COMPAMED 2018

Last week we attended the COMPAMED trade fair for suppliers and manufacturers of medical technologies in Dusseldorf, Germany.

For the first time as Porvair Sciences, we showcased our advanced porous plastics technologies to the medical and life science markets at Compamed 2018. Here we introduced our innovative range of polypropylene and polyethylene materials and the wide range of manufacturing capabilities we offer our customers. In addition, we had the opportunity to speak to visitors about our unique BioVyon™ range of high-performance porous materials. This is a versatile polyethylene material designed with our life science and medical customers in mind. From medical device filters, pipette filters to SPE frits this innovative type of porous plastic material are made to demanding regulatory standards as required by the FDA, EP Pharmacopeia and USP.

Exhibiting at Compamed has enabled us to reach out to customers looking for new suppliers of porous plastic materials and current users that are looking for something a little bit more. Since Compamed is the leading international trade fair for state-of-the-art medical technology and product development it is the ideal platform for Porvair Sciences to enhance brand awareness and provide solutions for problems found across the industries.
